Our water has way too much chlorine in it which is really bad for our skin and hair. I bought this showerhead years ago and am sure glad I did. I love that I'm reducing 90% of chlorine in my shower water. It also reduces sulfur odor and scale. It has a patented filter media that limits the passage and growth of bacteria. It really is a cleaner shower! I change the filter every 6 months for around $15 and there are third party filters you can buy for even less. Changing the filter is very easy as you don't have to detach the showerhead from the pipe, all you have to do is unscrew it, replace the inside filter, and screw it back on --- nice and easy! This really is a must buy for your shower to protect your hair and skin from the damage harsh chlorine causes to it.
