"Tyson was found injured and tied up to a log chain with no food or shelter. He had been hit by a car and has since undergone pelvis reconstruction and other surgical procedures, but he’s now good as new! Tyson is the sweetest little thing you ever did see, and he’s great with kids and other dogs. He’s very chill and will likely do well anywhere!"

Ruff Ruff! My name is Teddy.

"Teddy is a sweet heart who's owner died and the family didn't want him. :( He is a senior, we are guessing he is about 9 years old. He weighs about 10lbs. Teddy is friendly and seems to get along with everyone. He would do best in a home without very young children but would probably be fine with older kids who understand to be gentle and calm around him. He really just wants a lap to sit in and someone to be a companion to."

"These sweet little babies were dumped in a wooded area in Arkansas. Thankfully, someone was there and saw the whole thing and was able to get all of the puppies to safety. Poor babies were only about 4-5 weeks old at that time. Just little babies. We are purely guessing on their breed, since we never got the chance to see mom or dad. We are calling them Lab/Beagle/Border Collie mix."

"Lilac is a very sweet girl! She loves to play with other dogs, and she's a great snuggler. Her favorite thing to do is run around the yard with her foster siblings, and then curl up on the couch afterwards. She's housebroken, crate trained, knows all her commands and walks great on a leash. If you're looking for the total package, you won't find a better pup that Little Miss Lilac!"

"Lexi is a sweet and laid back pup. She is calm and does great with other dogs. She will be really excited to have a family to call her own."

"My name is Trudy and almost 10 month old and weigh around 40lbs. I may be shy with people in the beginning but I truly enjoy the company of other dogs, they help me feel safe. My foster mom says I walk really well on the leash. Apparently not many pups walk right next by their owner’s side without receiving some type of training. I must be special. I’m also crate trained and do very well with children."

"These babies were an accidental litter and were released to rescue to ensure that good homes are found for them. I believe they will be 70lbs+ but that is just a guess. Their mom is a lab mix and we do not know what dad is. These babies are all very friendly and sweet natured and have been handled by kids and adults on a daily basis. They love being loved on and will make wonderful, faithful, loyal companions."

"This sweet baby was rescued from a hoarding situation. We took in a total of 43 puppies and adult dogs, including the mama of these babies. She is a boxer/cattle dog mix, according to the owner."

"Ducky is a stray that wandered into someone's yard and no one ever claimed him. We believe he is a Min Pin mix. He appears to be about 4 months old and will probably be around 20lbs when mature. He is a smart, affectionate little guy who will make a loyal and loving companion. He gets along well with the other 3 dogs and the various cats in the home."

"Dan is a sweet loving boy who will make anyone the perfect companion. He may come off as shy or timid at first, but once he opens his heart and trusts you, you better be ready for this handsome man's full affection. He is a very smart boy who already knows many basic commands such as sit, down, and come. He is almost fully house broken. Dan is quite the snuggle bug when it comes to me and other dogs. He sleeps all the way through the night in our bed now and doesn't mind sharing with other dogs. He is just a laid back kind of dog that will easily fit your lifestyle and your heart."

"We don't know much about Rory's past, but he would do best in a quiet, suburban setting because strange city noises seem to increase his anxiety/nerves. Rory does guard things he views as high value, so needs a strong owner who will make it known that he is not the boss! Rory has been through a lot, please help us get some stability into his life!"

"Jason Lee is an adorable little Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix that is eager to have a home of his own. He is originally from a shelter in Beauregard Parish. He is heartworm negative, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is very small, only about 23 lbs. He was shy when he came into rescue but is far more outgoing now. He loves to go for walks, ride in the car and run and play."

Ruff Ruff! My name is Mickie.

"Mickie is an energetic terrier mix who loves to play outside. She loves to chase squirrels and will retrieve a ball for hours. She loves to snuggle and be petted! Mickie would do great with a sibling dog as she plays well with ours but would also be happy with some local doggy friends or trips to the park. She needs either a backyard to get lots of exercise or a couple of trips to the doggie park/walks each day. She is very playful but settles in the evening and is a snuggle champion. "
